Longer session Plein air Painting

Normally, I don't come back to the same location for my plein air paintings. I like to paint real fast and, particularly in love with dynamic brush strokes in paintings. I also sometimes struggle to keep myself interested doing one painting or artwork for too long. But, every once in a while, I would do it when I want to push my skill further.

Over here, I will post more polished paintings, in which I come back to the same location the next day (or several days) in order to finish the work. Please check this post often, since I will update the same post with new paintings regularly.

Some Stuff I Did Over the Summer

Summer has not been treating me well nowadays. With the temperatures easily go to triple digits, I struggle keeping my composure while painting these. But, in the end, I still love doing this. I hope you guys enjoy this update. As usual, any questions or comments are welcomed. These are all done in gouache.

Good News

I have just found out tonight from Spectrum fantastic art website that my friend, Wei Ku Sung, and I are selected to be in the Spectrum 18 Artist List. This will be my second time to be included in the annual (I got in last year for Spectrum 17). I felt very honored. Congratulations to everyone who made it to the list this year.
